PILOT CASE 3 – THE TERRORIST ATTACK GAME

Location: Basque Country, Spain

Under PC3, the Terrorist Attack Game multi-player game will be deployed, through the LAW-GAME platform. Simulated training will be enabled whereby trainees /police officers will enter a virtual area in which they will attempt to predict the terrorists’ actions and terminate any critical situation. The outcome of the game enables trainees to become better prepared in managing extreme situations in a more effective and efficient manner, reducing, or preventing terrorist threats.

The objectives of this Pilot Case are:

• Simulate training in real scenarios;
• Maintain high situation awareness;
• Increase the speed of investigation capabilities;
• Evaluate training performance.
